2 July Washington D C

Went on a one day bus trip organised by the company to Washington DC. The journey from wildwood took like 3 hrs plus.. But we slept most of the time coz it was 7am.

The bus dropped us at Air & Space museum.

As it was free and easy, we chanced upon this garden on the way.

Lovely flowers and castle..

A nice break away from the boring-looking offices and buildings in the area.

We saw quite afew ppl enjoying their lunch in the garden.

Just when we were feeling nice & relaxed after a walk in the garden, we went into the holocaust museum. As the itinerary warned us: you may leave this museum a changed person - the exhibit is simply that powerful..

It was a very enriching visit, learned quite abit about the holocaust. The exhibits were very good with videos, pictures and props. But it left me feeling quite grey & sad.. =(

We had a hard time finding exactly where it was.

There were afew guards ard but they werent very helpful.

Alittle disappointed as it wasnt as grand as we thought.

Final stop, Chinatown!

But this one is not as big as phili's. Not as many chinese ppl & shops too.

We had dim sum and it wasnt as good as the one in phili's.

Before long, it was 7pm n we had to make our way back to wildwood..
