Nearly a decade has passed since i left smps..
The first two years after i left, i still went back to visit the sch and teachers, as well as to fetch my sis..
But soon after i sorta lost touch with it, esp when sis also left the sch..
Then last thurs, sis and i happened to be in the area, with nth much to do.. N the sis who is full of weird ideas, suggested gg up the 'hill', to walk down memory lane..
Oh well the hill haven reallie change much, still as hot and tiring to walk up, but the buildings along the way have very much changed. Those that were seen as new at that time look kinda old in the midst of the many nicer new condos n private houses. I wouldnt mind staying in one of the houses there, coz its so western style and cool. But mayb gotta have car if not must exercise every day.
Acc to sis,the school hasnt change much from the outside. But to me, it looks very different from what i had in memory frm my era. There is no more the hill where we played at during recess. The red running track is more track-like than the old one we had. There is no more grass field at the centre. There is an extra staircase from the office level to the canteen. The classrooms no longer have panels that those sitting at the sides have to close at the end of the day. The sad thing was there were security guards there, so we din go in to take a closer look or to visit the teachers (if there is any i still know)or nurse lee, the ever-so-nice dentist who regularly summoned us for chk-up, and who we run to when our tooth seemed abit 'shaky'
To me, the few familiar things are the polka dot uniforms worn by my shimeis & the crest, big and prominent on the wall..
Really, how time flies~
