As work was in the evening, eileen and i decided to make a trip to Rio grande. Its only a 15min bus ride away, but it takes about 20 min to walk to the bus terminal. Had chinese brunch at Cheng's buffet. Its not bad, considering its $6.40 with tax. The mee hoon was quite hk-style. N there's soup, sweet sour pork, beef, teriyaki chicken, cream puff, icecream n fruits. Its getting popular among WAT ppl, nearly everyone has been there. There is no need for advertising, word-of-mouth is good enough.
Haven drank chinese tea in long whileAfter that, we went walk ard. There's a whole supermart devoted to pets called Petsmart, sth like the one in vivo. Eileen, the animal-lover was very excitied about it. There were quite a number of cats for adoption, quite big sized. Wonder if its the water here..
After that we also shopped for grocery. Before we should walk further, it was time to go back. THe bus came late and we ended up freezing cold waiting at the bustop.. =1
At work, got my first pay check!
Its not a lot, coz i only worked for 3 days last week. Then have to deduct tax and rent.. haizz
