5 may was a memorable day. For the first time in my life, i was gg on a LONG overseas trip without my family. I am gg to be miles away from home for 3 long months, . Although the decision to go for this trip was made months ago, it only really hit me hard days b4 departure, when family and frens wish me well, and help in my preparation.
Although it was exciting, it was also abit worrying. Life outside is definitely not a bed of roses. Lots of questions crowded my mind. Can i survive? Will i be homesick? But nonetheless it is an experience that i am definitely looking forward to..
The week b4, i gorged myself with my local favourites. Laksa, hainanese chicken rice, roasted chicken wings, yau tau fu, mutton mutabak, teh tarik, crystal jade (x2), thai fd (thx choy!) n many others.. Definitely gg to miss all of them. Of coz also met up wif some of my dear jiemeis and had a great time catching up with one another after the exams. Going to miss all of you!! (lj, u owed me one=1) Anw, i didnt want u all to send me off lest i cant bear to leave or shed a tear or two. All ur well wishes are appreciated!
