6 may evening, we took a plane from taouyuan terminal 2 bound for new york via anchorage. The flight was delayed for an hour or so and so elieen n me went surf net in the internet area instead of waiting aimlessly. Before we know it, we were too engrossed in the net n later some bags which caught our attention that we nearly forgot about the flight. We ran to the boarding gate, and it was empty. Haha we were one of the last few to board. Grand entry leh..This was one of my longest flight ever but luckily it was break into two legs with a stopover at anchorage. The view at anchorage is spectacular!

Simply breathtaking..

Watched a couples of shows on the plane, if not for the inflight entertainment, i dont know how i could endured the long hours of the flight. Towards the end of the second leg of the journey, i feel quite uncomfortable. I only remembered falling asleep, waking to eat and then sleep back again.. The food wasnt reallie good and i just took a few bites here and there. i tink we were served food at weird times, and hence no appetite..
Deserted JFK airportReached NY, ard 10 plus local time. Took a while to get our luggage, and was amazed by the large number of pieces some people had. One taiwanese auntie travelling alone actu had like ard 6-7 altogether. Went outside the airport to get a feel of the weather, and it feel so cold! Quickly went back in and rested at the food court. The airport was so quiet by this time. Totally deserted.. Luckily we met another group who was gg to morey's oso and we were chased out of the terminal. Had to hang ard in the another terminal. The waiting period was quite bad, trying to sleep yet cant reallie sleep. Had breakfast at mac and the steak bagel tasted quite good. Left airport early and took the mta railway. Not reallie a good experience, and truly appreciate the mrt back home more. The cabin was badly littered and filled with graffiti. The atmosphere wasnt welcoming and friendly. This continued even when we reached port authority bus terminal. Walked a few streets in NY, and everything was fast-paced and hurried. It also didnt felt very safe..
