Hello taipei!

Arrived in taipei at ard 7plus pm. The journey was all right, n i must say the food (had beef rice) was quite tasty. . However the airport terminal 1 was quite disappointing and old. Transferred to taoyuan hotel which was in a residential area. The hotel was quite all right, n the best thing was we had cabled internet access fm our room. Had my first webcam session with my family, and at that moment i really appreciate the invention of internet! Although it was lagging n took awhile b4 we gt everything set up, it was quite fun n heartwarming to see family while miles away from home. A pity of the night was that i missed chiew's party that night. Muz be quite fun to meet up with the rest. Hope everyone had fun, n Happi belated Bdae, chups!=)
The next morning, we explored outside after breakfast. There wasnt much attractions to see, except maybe the local way of life. The apts there are quite crowded, and in just 1 street, countless convenience shops n dvd rental shops. Oh did i mention that the night b4 when we just arrived in taipei we saw many bing1 lang2 mei4 along the way! Although we have heard n maybe saw b4 on tv, it was still an eye-opening experience. Didnt managed to take a pict though=X. We also got as close to a railway track that we could step on it. Its quite amazing that the track is so near the apts. There are even veggie growing at the sides of the track.
